Grant by Anthony Sprot, citizen and merchant tailor of London, to Henry Peatchie of West Therocke in the county of Essex, yeoman, for £780 of all that capital messuage, etc., now or lately called Elley's situated in the parish of Hutton in the said county of Essex, one close called "Barnefeild," another called "Highfeilde," another "Longfeilde," one other called "Broomefeilde," one called "Dyndefeilde," one called "Wellfeilde," one called "Bullislande," alias "Thurrockes," and one meadow adjoining to the orchard belonging to the capital messuage aforesaid; all of which are situated in Hatton, Mountnesinge, and Great Bursted and contain together 80 acres, free of all encumbrances, save a lease to Thomas Scott of Gray's Inn, esquire, dated 19 September last, for 2 years at £42 per annum, and assignment of a band of Robert Hatch of Hutton, yeoman, in £1000 dated 29 November, 40 Elizabeth [I].
